In February, First Friday Shorts is excited to partner with Creative Growth Art Center, 

who will showcase some terrific short films, all created on site during the Oakland Center’s video production class.  Spanning over five years of media projects, the showcase includes the premiere of new works and will be followed by a question and answer with the artists!

 

Creative Growth Art Center serves adult artists with developmental, mental and physical disabilities, providing a professional studio environment for artistic development, gallery exhibition and representation and a social atmosphere among peers.  The video production workshop includes cell animation, motion graphic animation, puppet video, and live action multimedia projects.
